Meet Mary Cypcar. Mary is a Design Partners superstar who is celebrating her 15-year work anniversary here at DP. What doesn’t Mary do?!? She is in charge of all client and vendor invoicing, handles any sourcing for project needs, is one of our proofreaders and generally supports the whole team with just about anything and everything that needs to get done! Mary is also that sweet, smiling, friendly face you see when you first come in the door! Her friendly and helpful demeanor really shines through on the phone too when you give us a call.
Mary loves that no two workdays are ever the same here. She also loves problem solving; throw a challenge her way and she will get it figured out. Mary attended Carthage College and studied Psychology. Her hobbies and interests outside of DP are diverse. She loves spending time with her husband and their dog, reading, writing, running (another DP marathoner who has completed the Chicago Marathon twice), hiking, playing trivia, Broadway musicals and traveling anywhere and everywhere she can. Congratulations on 15 years Mary!

Today’s Design Partners employee spotlight is on Jay Harris. Jay is celebrating 20 years with Design Partners this February. Jay has many, many talents and skills that he uses here at DP including illustration and design, creative direction, motion design, 3D rendering and animation, video and audio editing and has been featured as our voice talent upon occasion. He loves motion design and animation and bringing things to life through these mediums. There’s always more to learn and this is an exciting aspect to what he does. Jay also enjoys the people he works with and has made some lifelong friends. Outside of work, Jay is a musician, fine artist, martial artist, hunter and triathlete. Geez, is there anything this guy can’t do?? Jay lives in Burlington with his wife, 4 kids, 5 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, a turtle and a horse. Congratulations on 20 years Jay!
