Prompt 6: Monster
I probably won't have time to do the third one yet, so here are Two Monsters, Aileen Wuornos and Peter Kurten in the style of the Three Jokers covers.
Aileen Wuornos was a serial killer active from 1989 to 1990. Her victims were seven men, motorists who had picked her up while she was working as a pr******te in Florida.
She was played by Charlize Theron in the film Monster from 2003. Wuornos was executed in 2002 for her crimes.
Peter Kurten, aka The Monster/Vampire of Dusseldorf, was responsible for the murders of at least nine people from 1913 to 1929. His final victim was only five years old. He was executed by guillotine in 1931 in Cologne.
Fun Fact: Kurten's mummified head can be viewed at a Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum in Wisconsin. Wild.

Prompt 4: Undead
Bryan Patrick Miller, aka the Zombie Hunter, is currently sitting on death row for the murders of two Phoenix women in the early 1990s. Miller attacked both while they were riding their bikes along a canal.
Evidence links him to at least one other victim, a 13-year-old girl in 1992. Miller was arrested in 2015 after DNA found at the scenes was confirmed to be his. He was convicted this year despite a ridiculous guilt by insanity plea.
Fun Fact: Following the murders, Miller became something of a celebrity in his persona as the Zombie Hunter who drive a repurposed old police cruiser that he decorated to look like something out of a Neil Breen zombie flick. Stupid.

Prompt 2: Shapeshifter
From at 1974 to 1978, Ted Bundy was responsible for the deaths of at least 30 women ranging from 12 to 26 years old in Washington, Colorado, California, Utah and Florida. He is suspected of several more, including an 8-year-old girl when he was a teenager.
Bundy twice escaped from jail during his trials, with the last escape ending in Florida with several more victims. He was notoriously meticulous with his crimes and would probably have continued his spree if he hadn't been pulled over while driving a VW bug with no license plates.
One of the reasons he was able to carry on for so long was his chameleon-like ability to completely blend in and change his appearance drastically by making minor changes to his hairstyle and facial hair.
Fun Fact: Bundy once worked at a call center for a su***de hotline. His coworker was true crime author Ann Rule, who went on to write the definitive Ted Bundy biography The Stranger Beside Me.

Haven't had much time to post lately because work happens. Here's some old thing I did based on the WWI poem by Wilfred Owen, Dulce et Decorum Est. Seemed appropriate given current world circumstances. Digital version of an old letterpress run. I would love to get back into letterpress if anyone has a press to spare and a garage I can keep it in. And a sh*tload of lead type they feel like giving away. Also, if anyone is looking to part with a few million dollars, I take cash or check and offer absolutely nothing in return. Just saying.

I just got these lovely oddities back from the alumni exhibition. My friends at did an awesome job printing these, and I couldn't be happier with the DIBOND material they suggested. Now if only I could get around to actually making some pages for the two people who are actually interested in this strange side project.
