Today we are looking at a really cool tool, the Magnespot XR1000. I really wish I had this 20 years ago when I was fishing cable and trying to find the right place to drill holes without doing a ton of measuring off random walls. 99.99% of the time we got the hole right, but there was an occasion where you would accidentally drill on the wrong side of the stud. Not to mention the Magnespot would have saved us so much time and effort in locating the right place to drill. Lastly, we are announcing that when this channel hits 10, 000 subscribers, I will do a random drawing and giving it away to one lucky subscriber.

We continue tracing out the Romax and electrical legs that go to the closet, start removing and demo the closet drywall, and start planning out what we can remove and move for the Alarm system, Bose Lifestyle home audio and alarm panel box based on how much slack we have in the closet wiring that was installed from the original builder.

In this episode we discuss correcting downspouts and how much rain is accumulating for every square foot of roof surface area. We look at one side of the house and how the gutters and downspouts were incorrectly positioned to the wrong side of the house causing the soil to not dry out and causing efflorescence in the crawl space. We see how some of the down spouts were positioned draining onto flat lawn surfaces and onto the patio and not draining away from the house down the slope in the rear of the house. We see how we should take the gutter extensions further away from the foundation instead of kick off pads or short extensions and why you should do it a different way.
