What do I make as a brand designer? 👇🏼

Yes. I make logos and graphics for your biz (duh)... but the biggest things are not the deliverables you see. The result of what I do for you is getting your time back in multiple ways, like:
- you not having to change your or think of new visuals every single time you create content.
- you getting the confidence to show up as yourself, quirks included, because your brand supports that instead of making you look someone you're not.

That's the kind of thing I love making.

These things seem small, but they actually make a HUGE difference, especially in graphics that are mostly read on a smartphone.

Did you know that 1 out of 6 people have some visual impairment? Not having enough contrast or hard-to-read text, not only makes it fugly, but it also sends the message that you don't care if some people can't see/access your content 🫪. And just because YOU can read/see your own content, doesn't mean everybody can.

It's normal to look at Canva and ai for references in the beginning, especially if you're not a designer, but fear not, as your brand designer I take all your references and ideas, get to the core of your brand and translate it all into a brand that not only looks badass, but also brings clients/customers in.

Los Angeles, meet the 𝘯𝘦𝘸 Susie Q—now La Susie Q Susie Q ☆ Los Angeles Artist ☆ Estd 2013! She is embracing the play on words that "La" in her new brand name brings. La Susie Q, Spanish language for "The Susie Q." And LA Susie Q, representing the pride in her community, Los Angeles.

Why did I pick Susie as the winner of the 2025 Thankful Inka Giveaway? This woman entered the giveaway three years in a row. That's commitment. That's vision. That's "I know where I'm going, I just need the right partner to help me get there" energy, and honestly, I respected the hell out of that.

Sh is a 🇵🇪 🇸🇻 🇺🇸 wildly talented multi-disciplinary artist in Los Angeles that has been at her craft since 2013 🤯. She brings original, custom art to life through live art experiences (Doodle booth, paint workshops, murals, face painting, airbrush tattoos), brand activations, wearable art (art on clothing and accessories), and custom commissions.

Can I be vulnerable for a sec? I was a bit nervous to pick her. She's an artist, and damn good at it. I am a decent illustrator but I wouldn't call myself an artist. Imposter syndrome sank in. So I had the bright idea to collaborate with her on her own brand 💡. All the doodles you see were hand-drawn by Susie herself, and I vectorized them and designed the brand to work alongside them seamlessly 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽. What better way for her brand to truly represent her and her work?

Is your brand ready for its own transformation and growth? As you can see from the brand I share, I give you soooo much more than "just a logo." I deliver a whole ass brand system. A brand experience.

While a logo isn't the only thing that makes a strong brand that actually converts, it still plays a crucial role in your brand 😉

Having said that, I figured I'd jump on the .now trend and share logos I've designed in black and white. I may have missed the deadline 🫠 but it's still neat to see them in their glory at a glance.

It's rad to see how each one gives a different feeling, vibe and presence. Just one piece of their brand puzzle.

I'm proud of every single one of these and there are more to come! And in hindsight, it's wild to see how many have trusted me to take their brand to the next level 😭 Forever grateful.

Come with me to my brand client's coffee shop taste testing as they prepare for their grand opening now that they are cleared to open their doors. Basically, it was so tasty and I was so hopped on caffeine that I went home to deadlift a house. If you're in the South Bay, don't sleep on following them to make sure you know when they open their doors!
