Remember the old lady who swallowed a fly?
She swallowed a spider to catch the fly, then a bird to catch the spider, then a cat, then a dog. Each animal added to solve the problem created by the last one. It keeps escalating until the inevitable conclusion.
Enterprise mobile security has been telling the exact same story for two decades. First MDM, then MAM, then MTD, then encrypted containers, then remote wipe. Every layer a rational response to a real problem, and every layer creating the next one.
That is not bad ex*****on. That is what happens when the foundation is wrong.
