Meet Cole Friedman

Cole is a graphic designer, brand creator, and founder of ColeFDesign. Through his work in branding, apparel, packaging, and logo design, he’s built a reputation for creating bold visuals that don’t just look good, but communicate something meaningful. Known for his strong conceptual thinking and entrepreneurial mindset, Cole approaches design with both creativity and strategy, helping brands stand out in crowded markets.

At Circles 2026, Cole will be leading Don’t Make Boring Logos, a workshop built around a simple idea: most logos are forgotten because they’re missing a strong concept. In this session, he’ll walk through his Rule of 3 framework, showing how to combine multiple ideas into a single memorable mark. Attendees will learn how to develop stronger concepts, build mood boards with intention, and create logos with more depth, purpose, and staying power.

The bracket is set. The competition begins.

We’ve got 4 designers stepping into this year’s Design Madness:

Bryan Prince vs Dione Serrano
Dylan Green vs Ismael Burciaga

Semi-Finals Round 1 kicks off today.

Each matchup will take on a crime thriller movie poster challenge, where they’ll bring a fictional film to life through design. From concept to composition, this round is all about creating something bold, cinematic, and memorable under pressure.

They have from 8AM to 10PM CST to submit.

Winners will move on to Round 2 tomorrow.
