UNITE 2025 Conference Registration and Call for Presentations
“Data Resilience, Cybersecurity and Ransomware Defenses
with Unisys ClearPath”

The UNITE 2025 Conference, the only gathering of members of the Unisys user community in the Americas this year, will be held on line during 9 to 18 September 2025, using a Zoom facility provided by UNITE.

Join us to learn about the latest updates and user experiences in the Unisys customer world, from other attendees, from presenters and panelists, from third party vendors, and of course from Unisys. In a series of General and Management and Planning sessions, ClearPath MCP sessions, and ClearPath OS 2200 sessions, we’ll explore the latest in "Data Resilience, Cybersecurity and Ransomware Defenses with Unisys ClearPath" in on-premise and hybrid environments incorporating ClearPath Forward, ClearPath Software Systems, and other systems.

Since this is a virtual conference, we are planning a number of interactive sessions that, in addition to presentations and demos, include group discussions, panels, and birds of a feather. The conference is structured so you can share what you know, discuss your concerns, and take away solid information and techniques to share with your organization.

All of the usual UNITE Conference Registration options are available through the Conference Registration page under the 2025 Conference menu at unite.org. Registration will be open through start of the conference but getting it done now will ensure that you get your conference credentials in time for the very important Opening General Session.

We are soliciting some additional presentations for the conference, particularly sessions presenting user success stories, challenges in managing through the COVID-19 pandemic and recovery, and evolving higher levels of Cybersecurity and Cyber Resilience to secure our networks, IT infrastructure, and business processes

Guidelines for preparing an Abstract are included in the on-line abstract entry form available through the UNITE Presentation Entry link near the top of this page. We’re updating the Conference Highlights page with new added sessions on “Cyber Recovery for Unisys Environments” presented by Unisys, which covers both ClearPath MCP and OS 2200, and “How to Avoid Cyber Attacks” presented by the FBI. We’re also finalizing sessions on AB Suite and additional topics. You can reach the new info through the “Conference Update” page under the 2024 Conference menu on the UNITE web site: unite.org.

We are working on UNITE web site updates and solidifying the 2024 Conference Agenda in support of the theme: "Secure and Efficient Cloud Solutions with Unisys ClearPath".

A new web page, “Sessions Proposed To Date”, will be available tomorrow that shows the Presentations that have been offered for conference scheduling. As each presentation’s details are defined, we will publish that information in an expanded format so you can see shape and value of the UNITE 2024 Agenda. You can access this new information from the unite.org web site “Conference Update” page of the “2024 Conference” menu.

As a reminder, the UNITE 2024 Conference dates are 27-29 February and 5-7 March, 2024. Conference registration is open and anyone can submit an offer to present using the “Call for Presentation” link on the Conference Update page and submitting a Presentation Abstract.

We are very saddened to report that our friend and colleague, Alan Lechtenberg, passed away on November 8th, 2023.

Alan had been a valuable member of UNITE and the Unisys user community for many years and had always been a strong contributor of ideas, plans, and philosophy of this user organization. He generously contributed his time and intellect to the user community through planning and managing conference content, personally delivering quality technical presentations at UNITE conferences, and through his mentoring of UNITE members and the UNITE management team.

Alan had over 30 years’ experience in hardware and software development, working in Engineering at Unisys, and then at the University of Washington for over 20 years supporting Unisys software, hardware, and services, building custom system software, and consulting with application development teams. Most recently, Alan was a technology manager of storage and servers for the University.

He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him or worked with him in any capacity.

Building on the successful recent UNITE Virtual Conferences, the 2024 conference will also be a virtual gathering held during the two-week period of February 26 – March 8, 2024.

Based on our recent surveys, we are scheduling conference sessions over 6 business days to provide flexibility for both speakers and attendees. The dates chosen are February 27- 29 and March 05 - 07.

Join us to learn about the latest updates and user experiences in the Unisys customer world from other attendees, from presenters and panelists, from third party vendors, and of course from Unisys.
