What New Phone Systems DON’T DO ~~~~~
Few things please us more than hearing the joy of a client telling us how much their callers like the On Hold program playing on their telephone system. The opposite of that is when a client tells us they got a new phone system that they were told would “do the on hold for them,” only to find out that’s not even close to being the case. As we move into the second quarter of the 21st century, there’s no doubt that advances in technology have brought along some amazing conveniences. But it’s not all created equal. And often, there is still no replacement for the human touch you get from On Hold Marketing. Don’t let yourself and your business fall victim to a sales pitch that equates your customized On Hold program with the dreary funeral music that is the default option on many new VOIP and Hosted telephone systems. Before making a switch, ask your potential provider to share with you three or four existing clients where you can call and hear what they have On Hold, so you can compare it with what you have.
