THE SILENT WAR AGAINST PHONE ENGINEERS ⚠️
A lot is happening in our phone world, and if you’re a real engineer, you can already feel it.
Things are changing… and not in our favor.
Take a good look at FRP bypass — every day it’s getting harder. Updates after updates, tighter security, more restrictions. What used to take minutes now takes hours or even becomes impossible.
Then look at power banks…
Why so much gum?
Why seal it like something that should never be opened?
You struggle to open it, sometimes even get injured in the process. And even if you succeed, it won't look smooth again after you close it because you forced it to open it.
Simple question:
**What is wrong with screws?**
Why not make it repair-friendly?
Let’s be honest — this is not by mistake.
It feels intentional.
They don’t want repairs… they want replacements.
They prefer customers to buy new instead of fixing old ones.
And now, look at charging ports…
Before, even on a slow day, you must fix charging port. That was like bread and butter for many engineers.
But today?
When last did you fix one?
Almost every phone now uses Type-C. Even button phones have joined. It’s stronger, more durable, and customers benefit from it — no doubt.
But my concern is this…
**What happens to the engineers?**
We are gradually losing one of our most consistent sources of income.
And it’s not just hardware again…
Now even if you fix a phone very well, the phone can still reject your work.
You change screen — it shows warning.
You change battery — it reduces performance.
Take iPhone XR and some other iPhones for example…
You fix the screen perfectly, even use GX.
After some days, the screen will just start freezing for no reason.
Customer will come back — not to understand — but to accuse you.
“They will say you used fake screen.”
Meanwhile, you know the work you did.
Before, if you fix am, you don fix am.
Now? The phone still dey argue with you.
Engineers, we need to wake up.
I’m not saying this to scare anyone or push any wrong narrative. I’m just creating awareness so it doesn’t catch you unaware. Let’s grow with the change.
We must upgrade, adapt, and expand our knowledge beyond what used to work yesterday. Because the game is changing so fast.
Are you growing with the change… or the change is leaving you behind?
