When people ask me how to pronounce Reverie, I love that it gives me the chance to share the story behind the name.

I first came across the word while listening to Ben Platt’s 2021 album, Reverie. I had never heard it before, but I immediately fell in love with both the sound of the word and its meaning:

“A state of being pleasantly lost in thought or a daydream.”

Before every wedding comes the daydreams. Imagining the proposal, the celebration, the details, and the life you’ll build together. Those moments of dreaming are where every love story begins.

In many ways, Reverie Paper Co. is my own daydream come true. I get to spend my days helping couples turn their dreams into something they can hold onto forever, and I can’t think of a more meaningful name for this little business.

So yes, it’s pronounced REV-er-ee. And every time someone says it correctly, it makes me smile. 🤍
