A shipping-complaint spike sits buried in reviews nobody has time to read one by one, a product description keeps getting rejected by Merchant Center without ever saying why, and support chat rides on one AI provider that could hit a quota ceiling exactly when traffic peaks.

That's the thread behind our September module updates, led by AI stepping into the parts of the job that used to need someone paying attention:
🏷️ Advanced Reviews: an AI mode reads new reviews and tags a shipping complaint or a fit issue the moment you describe what to catch, so a pattern shows up before anyone reads every review by hand.
📦 Advanced Product Feeds: when Merchant Center rejects a thin description, an AI profile rewrites it and fills in the fields it flags most, holding every value for your approval before it touches the feed.
💬 eChat: if the AI provider answering your chats hits a quota ceiling, the backend switches to the next one on your list automatically, before your team notices the outage.

There's more in the full release: a support mailbox that keeps working after Microsoft's login changes, a compliance default that could quietly cost you conversion tracking, and checkout running a little faster in the background.

To understand store performance, people usually analyze complex dashboards. Today, AI lets you ask a simple question instead. For example: why shoppers drop out during checkout or why search queries do not convert.

For an agent to give a real answer, it needs two connected data sources:
🔹 Shopper behavior (searches, clicks, cart drop-offs)
🔹 Store sales data (catalog, orders, revenue)

Standard Magento tracks orders, but misses detailed behavior. Our Mixpanel Integration module records shopper actions, while the MCP Server delivers store data.

When AI combines both, optimization stops being guesswork. It pinpoints broken search terms or checkout roadblocks and tells you what to fix.

Today Ukraine celebrates Independence Day. For the global Magento community, this isn't just a date on another country's calendar. It's a reason to remember the talent, ingenuity, and values behind the platform that brings us all together.

Back in 2007, when Magento was just taking shape, a team of developers in Kyiv built its core architecture from the very first lines of code. They laid the foundation for the open, modular framework that would later power more than 200,000 online stores around the world.

That boundless flexibility, that refusal to be boxed in, isn't an accident. It's a direct reflection of the people who wrote it: their intolerance for limits and their drive for freedom. And today, that same mindset fuels the entire global ecosystem that keeps world e-commerce moving every day.

So happy Independence Day, everyone, and thank you for building this digital world together with us!

The hardest part of preparing a Magento store for AI shopping may not be checkout. It may be proving that an agent can find the store in the first place.

That changes what you need to audit. A Google Shopping feed can help a product enter the shortlist, but it does not carry the purchase. The agent still needs live price and stock, separate attributes it can compare, a checkout that preserves quote and session state, and server-side tracking when GA4 sees nothing.

So a working endpoint is not the finish line. The real job is checking every handoff from discovery to payment and making sure the team can see where the path breaks.

We mapped that full Magento flow, including the failure points around feeds, HTML, checkout state, and analytics, in the new article.

When your team handles Magento projects for clients, not everything that goes wrong gives you a clear signal early enough. An old product URL keeps sending Google traffic to a dead page, a feed looks generated while data is missing, loyalty settings let shoppers earn points they cannot spend, or a deleted post turns into cleanup work instead of a quick restore.

In our August release, several modules add a checkpoint before the problem surfaces somewhere else: a redirect, a log, a warning, or a recovery step.

🧭 Advanced SEO Suite: when a product is disabled or deleted, its old URL can redirect to the category, a selected page, or the homepage, with generated redirects visible in the Redirects grid.
📦 Advanced Product Feeds: feed errors now go to var/log/mirasvit/feed.log, while the feed screen shows generation time, product count, and validation issues.
🎁 Reward Points: if customers can earn points but no active rule lets them spend them, the admin sees a warning while there is still time to fix the rule.
📝 Blog MX: deleted posts go to Trash first, so the content can be restored instead of rebuilt after one wrong click.

This is only one part of this month’s updates. Other changes cover storefront speed, AI and browser assistant discovery, cleaner reporting, and compatibility fixes.

Your client may see Claude pull a useful answer from Magento and ask, “What else can it do?” That first wow is easy to get. The real test is whether it still helps next week, when the same store work comes back.

Access alone does not teach the tool how the store works. Someone still has to give it context: where the data lives, which custom logic changes the answer, what should be saved as a skill, and where a human checks before anything goes live.

That is the value behind Claude in Magento. Not autopilot. Not magic. A faster way for people who know the store to do more of the work that already matters.

We broke down the practical examples, limits, and setup logic in the full article. The link is in the first comment.

If you build AI chat for Magento, the debate always starts with the model. So we checked the data instead: 3,766 real conversations an AI handled on live stores over three months, entirely on its own. The model was almost never what decided the outcome.

When a chat failed, the answer simply was not in the merchant's content, sometimes down to the shop's own name, which lived only in the logo. The worst outage of the whole period was not intelligence either: one shop's API key ran out of money, and conversations died mid-sentence.

The flashy parts were free anyway. The bot answered in 30+ languages nobody configured, and its cost tracked how much content it had to read, not which model ran underneath: one deep product question hit $6.89 across 63 calls.

So your real leverage is not the model you pick. It is whether the answers are written where the bot can read them, and whether the infrastructure fails safely.

The full breakdown is in the first comment.

You use AI every day. But have you talked to your Magento clients about AI shopping yet? Their customers are starting to ask ChatGPT what to buy, and their stores may not be in the answer. You're the one who will explain why and fix it.

The reason is duller than it sounds. An assistant only recommends what it can actually read, and most Magento catalogs were never written for a machine to parse. So those shops stay invisible, competitors get named instead, and the owners can't see what's wrong. That isn't a marketing gap, it's a plumbing one, and it lands on you, not on them.

In practice, "make us AI-ready" turns into a handful of decisions you'll recognize:

🔎 Source: where should a shopping tool pull product data from?
📦 Clarity: are variants, prices, stock, and categories clean enough to compare?
🧩 Protocols: how do UCP, ACP, and MCP fit the integration? Adobe Commerce has already committed to the first two, so on your platform this is turning into a baseline, not a bet.
🚦 Limits: what do you expose to outside systems, and what stays locked inside the store?

Shopify has already moved this to platform level: Catalog API and UCP make products from millions of merchants available to AI. On Magento, the same four questions are still yours to answer, project by project.

We built the Agentic Commerce module around exactly those decisions. It gives agents a structured, permissioned way into the catalog, while pricing, checkout, and customer relationships stay with the store. The activity dashboard also shows searches that return no results, so teams can see where product data is unclear or missing context.

The module link, protocol details, and implementation notes are in the first comment.

For your own projects, are merchants already asking about AI shopping, or is it still coming in as a vague “we should do something with AI”?
