When I tell you that I was so excited to edit these after visiting the Northeast this weekend… it brought me back to the days when I used Cape Henlopen State Park late at night to just gaze and capture the skies. 🌌 I was able to visit home this weekend, and even though it was quite literally a 24-hour stop. It warmed my heart and soul. I’ve missed it so much. And it’s nice to shoot the skies again after so many years of not doing it.

Here are some shots of today’s adventure. We to play with the FX3 at the Strawberry festival with the fam today. Safe to say it was beautiful getting to know this camera and play with all the warm colors of the festival.

Going out doesn’t happen very often with two kids. But being able to have a bit of time with (when we can) just us two is a breath of fresh air.

Even though this was well a month ago, I’m glad I brought my A1 to St Pete. One of the stops was at such a solid spot.

Long Boat Key during the holidays with my little family.

This truly was an amazing experience. To be with my loved ones and just doing the best we could to enjoy our time unplugged and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Truly blessed to have ended the year this way.

Also shout out to the new Canon A1 that camera just gets it. And also shout out to for always killing it with the dev and scans 🫶🏽

I still can’t believe how big he’s gotten — how much he talks, laughs, and fills every day with his curious little heart. He’s silly, loving, and endlessly sweet. I adore this boy more than words can say, and I just hope one day he’ll feel proud to call me his dad.

Got some film back recently and found these gems — reminders of how fleeting and beautiful these moments are. Nothing beats shooting on the Canon A1 + 50mm 1.4

Just got my film back and my test roll with good ‘ol’ Canon A1 was a success. Loving the 50mm 1.4 and that Kodak Gold 👌🏽

Can’t wait to really get it going!

I’ve taken a step back from posting on my personal Instagram all due to the fact that I’m shooting for myself less and less. Not because I don’t love it or bc I’m giving up on photography. Not at all. Because I’m shooting for myself, to capture the things that I love.

My wife, my son, my home. Warm summer days and sunsets. Shadows from clouds during sunny, rainy days. Light beaming through leaves. Things like these are what get me. The in-between moments. The ones we miss when it’s too late. That’s what I want to capture.

That’s what it’s all about. At least for me 🤘🏾
