We are presently experiencing a large scale internet outage in the North end of Ripley due to a truck tearing down our main line fiber.
Due to the severity of the damage, this will be a lengthy outage. We apologize for the inconvenience and will do our best to try to restore service as soon as possible.

UPDATE: Customers who were affected by this outage should be restored at this time.

Internet Outage: We are experiencing an outage in the areas in red due to catastrophic damage that was caused by a large truck tearing down our main line fiber. This destruction will result in a lengthy outage for our customers who are affected. We will provide updates when they are available.

During our restoration process, we are finding that a lot of customers have turned the power off to their modems and routers. Please keep your equipment powered on during this time. No outside work will cause any damage to equipment. You should see lights on the front of the modem and router when powered up. Please call the office if you have any trouble. Thank you for your patience during this time.

The National Weather Service is forecasting an enhanced risk of severe weather for Mississippi on Sunday (3/15/26) evening. The highest threat is in north and central Mississippi, but the entire state could see severe storms.

Our TEPAconnect office will be closed Wednesday, March 11th, 2026, from 10:30 am -12:30 pm to allow our employees to attend the funeral services for Mr. Tommy Benson.
Tommy served as Tippah EPA Board Director for 16 years, with a lot of those years in the capacity of Secretary of the Board. He owned Benson Home Supply which served our community for nearly 23 years. He was a friend to many in the community due to his great personality and willingness to serve.
Tommy will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Please be in prayer for his family and friends during this difficult time.
