What happens when the only CT scanner for an entire region is running on a UPS system that could fail at any moment?
That was the reality for a regional healthcare provider we recently partnered with. Their imaging system supported trauma response, stroke diagnosis, and cardiac evaluation for a remote service area with no backup facility nearby. The UPS protecting it was aging out, and global supply chain delays meant a standard replacement could take months longer than the equipment had left in it.
There was no room for a scheduled outage. Every hour that scanner was down could mean an airlift, a delay, a worse outcome.
We took on the full transition ourselves: procurement, engineering, and a live installation with zero interruption to the scanner.
Most facility teams don't find out how thin their margin for error is until something goes wrong. We'd rather help you find out now, while you still have options.
