The Center for Teen Empowerment in Rochester doesn’t just serve teens. It employs them. As youth organizers, they’re paid to listen, to lead, and to mobilize their peers around the issues shaping their neighborhoods.

They’re out in the community every day meeting other teens where they are, learning their challenges, and organizing around real solutions. The result? More positive outlets. More ownership. More momentum for change led by the people closest to it.

We partnered with ESL to help tell the story of how CTE is investing in youth leadership that’s already making an impact across Rochester.
