📺 Most people see a fishfinder. We see a mystery.

Some repairs take 7 minutes.

Some repairs take 7 hours.

Some repairs take several days.

Why? Because manufacturers don't hand us a map. There are no secret books full of answers. Many times we're diagnosing failures that we've never seen before and have to reverse-engineer the issue from the board itself.

When you see your unit sitting in a repair queue, it isn't sitting there because nobody is working. It's waiting its turn behind dozens of other units that each require individual testing, diagnosis, repair, and verification.

One technician. Dozens of repairs. Thousands of components. A lot of coffee.

The goal isn't to be the fastest repair shop.
The goal is to return a unit that works properly when you get it back on the water.

When replacement parts don’t exist, sometimes you have to make something from nothing.
This Lowrance ActiveTarget 2 came in with the power connector pins completely broken/mangled. Since the parts aren’t readily available, we started with raw metal stock and machined/fitted custom pins one by one to bring it back to life.
Not every repair is plug-and-play — sometimes it takes a little creativity, patience, and a steady hand.

We are back up and running! We can tell fishing season is among us with all the units coming in. Que is backed up but rest assured we are making daily progress.

We are also working on the customer portal. Right now you can see your status. Soon you will be able to see Tech Notes, Photos, and other documentation.

Today is moving day and I wanted to come on here and thank all of you for your support and trust.
Rudolph Repairs loves doing what we do and we will have our office set up and ready to go by mid next week. (Have to get the kids all enrolled in their new schools.)
