It is a new month (!) which means we get to feature a new Maine roaster! Our November subscribers received coffee from Blind Tiger Coffee, out of Old Town. It was extra fun preparing his coffee for shipment. The bags are bright, have creative artwork accompanying the name of the roast, and.... of course smell AMAZING!

We've heard from subscribers about how beautiful the artwork is on this month's bag of coffee. When I found out that Emma, one of the owners of Milkweed Coffee, was the artist, I had to check out her IG and webpage (which is where this image is from). My oh my....jaw dropped!

Coffee and Art go really well together. Both are complex, offer a sensory experience, and both leave you feeling full, in one way or another.

Milkweed Coffee is a great example of providing the full experience.

Though Milkweed is a young Maine business, it is not the first (coffee) business they own! Jennilee, co-owner of , also owns a coffee shop on Long Island (NY), North Fork Roasting Co., where they also roast! It has been one hot July! If August follows that trend, and you want to explore a new lake, put Bryant's Brewing in Hartland in your GPS. Coffee, beer, dogs, dock, great owners and locals... a good way to spend some of your day.

We don't normally stray from talking about Maine coffee, but this month we had to include the other half of Bryant's Brewing, one of Maine's breweries. Bob is the mastermind behind brewing beer. With 11 beers typically on tap you are bound to find one you like! You can even take a (massive) 32 ounce can home with you, canned right in front of you.

"Sit pretty" are two words that Rowdy responds to. Meet the "grouchy" old man, Rowdy (the sh*tzu), who is a sucker for laps. Tip: let him jump up as he will give you the side eye when you pick him up.

Sprite, the light brown and white corgi, is s a sweet gal but is very weary and feels comfort under cover of a chair or counter. Her army crawl is quite cute.

Willow, the black/brown/white corgi mini Australian shepard mix, has high energy and could chase balls all day (check out the reel we posted earlier this month) and cool off by allowing the ball to bounce down to the shore of the lake.

You enjoy them alongside your coffee or beer at Bryant's Brewing.

This month's roaster, Bryant's Brewing, is located on Great Moose Lake and has a dock for water crafts to pull up for their coffee. As if waking up at a Maine lake wasn't already like winning the lottery. Add in launching your kayak and paddling across the lake for a steamy cup of coffee. Sounds pretty amazing.
