Tomato plants in our windows?

When you walk by our office downtown, you may notice tomatoes, vegetables or other plants growing in our office windows and along the walls. Sometimes it looks like we are more of a plant store then an IT Service Provider. So why you may ask, do we have so many vegetables growing inside? Well...

Cybersecurity and IT Support work can be very stressful at times. In an effort to promote movement between calls and provide healthy snack alternatives, we grow indoor vegetables in our office year round. Why not use our climate controlled rooms and lighting to grow plants that help clean the air and provide food for our staff? It also gives us something to focus on when we take breaks during long projects.

What about bugs? We use organic methods to control bad bugs including using Ladybugs. Ladybugs are a beneficial bug that naturally hunts for bad bugs and are fun to watch. If you look close at our windows and plants, you may spot one crawling around. We sometimes sprinkle water on the plants so they can get a drink easily. Plus they pose for photos as they naturally stop moving when you get close.

So, yes, we are a downtown business with grow lights and plants in the window. But it's meant to provide food, relaxation, a great conversation starter, and air quality improvements for our staff and customers alike. Our grow lights are full spectrum led grow lights and provide low cost lighting improvements as well.

Good news for mobile phone users, bad news for Automated Text Spammers.

If your organization uses SMS/Text Campaign or sends SMS/Text messages from anything other then a mobile device, please read the following:

Updated 10DLC SMS Registration Requirements now in effect.

Major US-based mobile carriers have implemented significant changes to the requirements that allow 10DLC (10-digit long codes) / local SMS to send traffic to their networks. Service Providers are now encouraged to have all outbound-SMS enabled numbers registered with "The Campaign Registry". Those that do not register their traffic will be subject to reduced messaging throughput and potential mobile carrier fines.

Mobile carriers are treating all non-mobile SMS traffic as A2P, regardless of content. As such, you will need to register your non-Toll-Free SMS numbers to avoid the penalties associated with unregistered traffic.

For Web Media Express customers, we can provide registrations for a $10 one-time fee. Campaign (Use Case) Registrations will vary depending on which type is selected, with the most common campaign types ranging in price from $2.50/month to $25/month.

DIDs that only receive inbound SMS will not need to be registered.
