Razorvision Consulting is a Fintech Software Development company steadily growing over the last eight years.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant work experience and a proven track record of working within a collaborative web team while also providing individual contributions. You should have experience building scalable web applications and be well versed in Django. If you are an experienced Python developer and the complexity and the dynamics of programming in Python, as well as regular use of algorithms and “thinking outside of the box” are features that you are familiar with, then we are looking for you!

Complex data structures should be easy for you, as is designing ORMs and querying relational databases. You’re an expert in handling web services and protocols, integrating with REST and SOAP programming interfaces.

Technologies used:

Python 3.7 + type annotations
Django 2.2
Both relational and non-relational databases

Requirements:

5+ years of full-stack Python Development software development experience.
Python Django web application framework (esp. Models, QuerySets, Views, Templates, Forms) development required
Solid understanding of object-oriented design, and the design patterns, MVC and MVVM.
Experience with HTML5, CSS, Javascript and Bootstrap
Experience working with Rest API's, git, Kubernetes, and/or Docker.
Experience with the javascript frameworks AngularJS, EmberJS and/or React.

Your position will involve:

Feature prioritization
Feature effort estimation
Agile / Scrum development
Being a team player
Working within multicultural and geographically dispersed teams

To be successful you need:

Familiarity with a variety of architectural patterns (MVC, ORM RESTful, and Mocking), frameworks, and libraries (RSpec, Devise, Pundit, NoseTests, etc.)
Must be able to clearly communicate in English both verbally and written
Must be able to work 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST

"Working at Razorvision is like meeting a part of your family you never knew you had. After my first two weeks at Razorvision, life threw me a bunch of curveballs, and normally it would stress me out beyond belief. But, everyone at Razorvision was supportive and allowed me the flexibility I needed to manage my family life and work life. They not only cared about how I was adjusting to the work but how I was doing as an individual. When work is stressful, which we all know work can be sometimes, I know management has my back. They are there to help me through a problem or reassure me that I am on the right track.
