My name is Matthew Webster, and I am the owner of Economy Computer Repair. My main focus is to provide my customers with computer repair of laptops, and desktops at an affordable price, and provide the information you need to get the most out of you computer. ready to let go of that old desktop or laptop yet, it may or may not be time to retire it. I started my company in March 2008 and have helped many people in that time. I have made many friends in that time as well - clients that liked my service so much, they keep coming back again, and again and have become friends! If you have work done by me and you have and questions or issues afterward, I am there for you. I want you to be satisfied with your repairs, but there may be other questions that are not related to the work done, and you just need answers. Sometimes answering questions about your machine makes it more of an asset to you. My company is not just about repairing computers. It is about building trust. I have a genuine interest in seeing you get what you need. Some people take a narrow look and just get the job done. That sometimes is not enough. Some of the real value customers find with me is top quality, fast, friendly repair service, and really good support service afterward. We are here to help.

Times are hard but really? Who does things like this?
A computer guy competitor that I know took the trouble to type a very fraudulent note on his computer to cover my note on my business window. It contained misspelled words and had his name and phone number to come see him if you needed computer work.

I don't have the time to deal with idiots like him. It is a felony to do something like this. Just thought you should know. I am sure he is reading this. Any future felonies planned use spell check.

Hello, my name is Matthew Webster I am the owner of Economy Computer Repair. I have been in business for 17 years in Round Rock TX. My last store was in Skyridge Plaza. The lease runs out on the 28th of February 2026. I have already moved out. I am at my new location.
We replace laptop batteries, LCD screens, and SSD drives. Data recovery and data transfer. We also sell good used Dell laptops and desktops. We do some soldering, If you need something not on the list, call we will see if we can help you.

Hold On To Those Older Computers
Brand new computers are on the average not going to last as long as many older computers. It is not profitable to design and manufacture a laptop or desktop consumer type computer to last 15 or 20 years. The trend is lighter and smaller which is good. The life span of the computer is much shorter on the average. That goes for Mac too.
