Higher State Technology is looking for two entry-level Help Desk Technicians to work in our Round Rock offices M-F, 8-5pm. You will be joining a pool of other technicians to serve our many customers, from residential to enterprise level, with most being in the SMB market. You may be in a call queue or making field calls for these Managed IT clients.

We’d prefer A+ Certification but will consider on-the-job experience too. Customer service experience is a must. This is an apprentice level role so salary is set for growth, but you will be offered a living wage to start.

Responsibilities
• Work Help Desk tickets within SLA's
• Respond to customer issues via phone and email
• Provide customer assistance
• Document customer interactions through ConnectWise ticketing system
• Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues
• Properly escalate issues you are unable to resolve
• Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software
• Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
Qualifications
• Experience working in a help desk environment or in customer service
• Proficiency with Windows, MAC and IOS computers
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Highly organized
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues
• Can lift and move computers, printers and other peripheral items
