As a local business owner, I know ad budgets are tight. Here's how to get more customers from Facebook organically:
1. Optimize Your Business Page π±
β Add your hours, location, and phone number
β Use a clear profile pic (your logo) and cover photo
β Fill out EVERY section completely
(Google and Facebook reward complete profiles!)
2. Join Local Facebook Groups ποΈ
β Find groups in your area (neighborhood groups, local business groups, etc.)
β Be helpful, not salesy
β Answer questions and provide value
β People buy from people they trust!
3. Post Consistently (Not Constantly) π
β Aim for 3-5 times per week
β Share behind-the-scenes content
β Show your team and your process
β Ask questions to boost engagement
4. Use Facebook Stories β‘
β They're FREE and appear at the top of feeds
β Share daily updates, quick tips, or special offers
β Add polls and questions for interaction
5. Encourage Reviews β
β Simply ASK happy customers to leave a review
β Send them the direct link (makes it easy!)
β Reviews = social proof = more leads
6. Go Live Once a Week π₯
β Facebook LOVES live video (prioritizes it in the algorithm)
β Do Q&As, tours, demos, or tips
β Don't worry about being perfectβauthenticity wins!
7. Engage Like Crazy π¬
β Respond to EVERY comment (within an hour if possible)
β Comment on other local businesses' posts
β The more you engage, the more Facebook shows your content
Bonus Tip: Tag your location in EVERY post. This helps locals find you!
π‘ Which tip will you try first? Drop a number in the comments!
And if you found this helpful, save this post and share it with another local business owner who needs to see it! π
