DESCRIPTION
Position Overview
Setup, inspect, and test personal high-tech consumer electronics such as computers, laptops, tablets and VR systems in order to prepare them for resale. This position works under general supervision, interacting with a lead and supervisor several times a day to receive guidance and feedback.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Key Responsibilities
β’ Performs all inspection, cleaning and packaging activities in compliance with standard procedures and given specifications.
β’ Disassembles, adjusts repairs, cleans or replaces BASIC components, then reassembles equipment.
β’ Documents inspection activities and establishes schedules for review of potential problems.
β’ Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment. Assures that all tools are accounted
and cared for, and can be used safely.
β’ Regularly communicates problems and improvement opportunities to immediate supervisors.
β’ Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.
Education & Experience
β’ High School diploma or equivalent required.
β’ Previous processing experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
β’ Must be competent and experienced in using a computer and entering detailed data.
β’ Capable of learning details about consumer electronics.
β’ Dependable, trustworthy and able to work FROM home but as a TEAM.
