This Veteran's Day, RYKER was honored to host 'Ties That Heal', our charity fundraiser supporting Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. (PHW) in their mission of healing America's veterans. All proceeds will benefit the new PHW Sacramento program, supporting local veterans and active military service members enrolled.

We are grateful to our guest speakers, author and Marine Corps veteran Mike Allen Jr., US Navy veteran and PHW participant/volunteer James Canady, and PHW Martinez/Sacramento lead Brian Miller.

A huge thank you to our vets, friends and family, small local businesses, PHW and our friends at Walmart, The Home Depot, and Lowe's Home Improvement - your generosity helped RYKER give away over $12k in prizes and reach our fundraising goals! This Veteran's Day, RYKER is hosting ‘Ties That Heal’ a charity fundraiser to support the launch of the new Sacramento Project Healing Waters (PHW) affiliate program.

PHW is a leading non-profit that heals America's veterans through the therapeutic art of fly fishing. https://lnkd.in/dFcXAnKv

All proceeds will benefit local vets and active military personnel enrolled in PHW, funding guided fishing outings and other therapeutic initiatives.

The evening will include food and drink, guest speakers, exciting prizes, and time to connect with attendees as well as PHW participants and volunteers.

Speaking at MIT, receiving my Chief Technology Officer credentials, and becoming engaged to my best friend- last week was truly one for books.

I'm truly humbled and blessed by the opportunity to have addressed my fellow graduating peers in the professional education CXO program at MIT. For those in attendance, thank you for your support, and allowing me to share my experience. It meant the world to me, and I can only hope my words brought a source of inspiration for anyone going through a tough time.

To all the brilliant minds and wonderful colleagues met this past year at MIT Professional Education, it was truly an honor being in your presence, learning from you, and seeing the innovation showcased in everyone's final presentations. Truly awesome.

And to my team, Rob, Bryan, Vincent, Wael, and Jason - you are the best and brightest. I'm humbled to call you my peers and lucky to call you my friends.

And Jason… Not even I could have guessed that our conversation (unbeknownst to you) would result in a surprise proposal to my best friend and girlfriend of 3+ years. She said yes!

Life is good.

These days it's easy to get caught up in the noise of our country’s current political climate, but what truly defines the Unites States of America is the bravery, resilience, and freedom of its people.

In a world where conflict and controversy dominate the news, it's easy to forget the quiet acts of kindness, empathy, and courage that shape our communities and our lives. America is made up of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. These are the qualities that truly define us.

This weekend, we remember those who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms - including the freedom to disagree as well as the freedom to live with purpose and make a positive impact on those around us.

They believed in America... And today we still believe in America.

This weekend we honor the memories of those who served to protect our freedom and wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day.

Did you know the geospatial industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world?

According to market research, global demand for geospatial solutions is projected to grow from USD 438 billion in 2024 to USD +1 trillion by 2032, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of anywhere from 12.3% upwards of 15.6% or more.

Demand for geospatial solutions in the energy sector, particularly in the electric power industry, is expected to surge driven by the need for efficient grid management, renewable energy integration, and outage response, along with other demands.

As the electric industry continues to evolve and overcome challenges, accurate data and location intelligence are essential for efficiently managing assets, optimizing grid operations, and delivering reliable, sustainable energy to customers. By 2032 the electric industry alone is projected to account for over 20% of the global geospatial market.

Track fire updates and get vital information on CalFire's interactive GIS map.

As of this post, all Los Angeles County fires remain at 0% containment except for the Lidia Fire which is being reported as 30% contained.

Our hearts go out to all those affected by the Palisades Fire and other wildfires currently happening in the region. We hope for the safety of everyone involved and are sending our deepest thoughts and prayers for those who have lost loved ones, been displaced, or lost their homes.
