A great website should do more than look beautiful. It should tell your story, build trust, and make it easy for the right people to take the next step.
When Mason Marketing Group asked me to redesign their website last summer, we weren't just looking for a fresh new design. We wanted visitors to understand everything Mason Marketing Group offers without feeling overwhelmed.
Their team offers a wide range of specialized services, so the challenge was finding a way to communicate the depth of their expertise without overwhelming visitors. We restructured the content, simplified the messaging, and used thoughtful design elements like color blocking and expandable sections to make the information easier to explore while still telling their story. The result?
β’ A 5.4% click-through rate within the first three months after launch, a bit above the industry average of 2β5%
β’ 4,450 impressions in those first three months
β’ 12.3K page views, up 29%, and 6.4K visitors, up 40%, since launching in October
β’ Increased search visibility for one of their core services, print solutions
β’ A website their team can confidently update and manage themselves, giving them the flexibility and ownership they wanted (and need)
Those numbers are exciting, but my favorite outcome isn't found in analytics. It's knowing their website now works as hard as they do. It tells their story, builds trust with potential clients, and makes it easier for people to take that next step.
That's what purposeful design is all about.
