86.8% of businesses have multi factor authentication turned on. Only 51.1% require it on all their important accounts.

That is from the 2026 Small Business Cybersecurity survey the National Cybersecurity Alliance ran with CISA, 1,000 business leaders.

Translate that: about half of everybody thinks they are protected because MFA exists somewhere in their tenant. Meanwhile the owner login, the shared billing mailbox, or the one old account nobody cleaned up is still wide open. That is the account that gets hit. Every time.

MFA that covers most accounts is not security. It is a door with three locks and one window left open.

READ IT YOURSELF: https://www.staysafeonline.org/articles/2026-small-business-cybersecurity-awareness-practices-survey

THEN DO THIS: comment MFA and we will check for free which of your accounts are actually covered. Fixing them is real work we will quote you, but finding out costs nothing.

Even the best drivers need seatbelts and airbags. Some things, like distracted drivers or poor conditions, are out of their control.

Your technology backups are the same way. They’re not a sign that your security is weak or your business is in danger, but bad days are out of your control.

If an airbag in your car gets recalled, you wouldn’t wait to get it fixed, and you shouldn’t wait to test your data backup and recovery plan.

Call 435-414-8483 for a backup plan that’s ready in case you ever need to overcome one of those bad days.

At a roulette table, your odds of winning are 37:1. The only place those odds are a breath of fresh air is compared to the odds of untested backups protecting your business.

Set-it-and-forget-it strategies, old procedures and exposed backup locations are inviting disaster.

These strategies failing isn’t bad luck; it’s carelessness that can be exploited.

It’s a roulette wheel that can never be won because the house is incentivized to take advantage of poor planning.

If you’re relying on luck more than you’d like to admit, schedule a discovery call with us today: https://nomoreglitch.com/

St. George just ranked number one in the entire country.

The National Association of Realtors put out its first Commercial Real Estate Demand Index and St. George came in at the top overall metro, score of 128. Not top ten. Number one.

We have been saying it for years while we crawl under desks all over Washington County: this town is not small anymore. More buildings means more businesses, more staff, more devices, more of everything that needs to actually work on day one.

If you are opening a second location or moving into new space, the network and phones need to be planned before the drywall goes up. Doing it after is how you end up with a temporary hotspot for three weeks.

Keeping your business running is the baseline. The real question is whether your technology helps you move faster than your competition.

Too many businesses settle for IT that keeps the lights on. Systems work. Support tickets get answered. Problems get fixed.

That's the canoe.

The businesses pulling ahead are using technology to automate repetitive work, give employees time back, make smarter decisions and scale without adding unnecessary complexity.

If your IT is only helping you stay afloat, it’s time to ask what it's keeping you from.

Utah water systems were on a hacker target list.

KSL and Deseret News reported Utah was one of 12 states whose water infrastructure was targeted, and a 2026 state audit says many Utah drinking water systems "lack foundational protections against growing cyber threats."

Here is the part that should bug you: those utilities have budgets and rules. Your office probably has neither. If a water system with a compliance officer is getting probed, the 12 person business on Bluff Street is not exactly a hard target.

This is not about panic. It is about knowing whether your doors are locked.

60 seconds.

That is the average wait when you call us. Not a phone tree. Not a ticket portal that emails you back Thursday. A person in St. George who knows your network.

We built it that way because we have been the guy standing in a shop at open with a dead register, on hold, watching a line form. Every minute your stuff is down costs you real money and real customers.

So we answer. Then we fix it.

READ THIS FIRST: nomoreglitch.com lays out exactly what we cover, how support works, and who we take care of around town. Five minute read before you ever talk to us.

THEN DO THIS: tired of waiting on your current IT? Comment HELP and we will call you back today.

There’s no teacher in business to give you a bad grade, but if you’re not checking off all five of these boxes, your IT strategy is in need of serious intervention.

Testing backups, training employees, solidifying AI policies, building a recovery plan and keeping your software up to date are foundational steps to getting the most out of your tech.

Once you’ve taken care of these fundamentals, your IT team can start supercharging your business.

Comment “PASSED” below if you’ve gotten five out of five on this IT pop quiz (and come back later to comment if you’re not there just yet and need to put your tech in order first)!

22 new projects are coming to Southern Utah.

St. George, Washington, Hurricane, Santa Clara, Springdale. Raising Cane's, REI finally getting a date, hobby garages behind Costco, Tech Ridge filling in.

Every one of those doors that opens needs the boring stuff done right on day one. Wi-Fi that covers the whole building. A point of sale that does not drop mid rush. Email and file access that will not lock you out when you hire your third person. Cameras that actually record.

Do it once, do it right, and you never think about it again. Redo it in six months and it costs triple.

READ THE LIST: rockstgeorge.com has the full roundup of all 22 projects (August 2026). Worth a look if you sell to businesses here.

THEN DO THIS: opening or expanding in the next year? Comment SETUP and we will walk your plans with you. Free, no strings.
