Elk River customers- this outage is from 1am until 5am Thurs the 27th of August 2026, most people will not experience this as they will be nestled quietly asleep in their beds. Just an FYI

Approximately 635 Avista electric customers east of Deary in Helmer, Bovill and Elk River will experience a planned power outage this Thursday. The planned outage will start at 1:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 a.m. All affected

An entity reached out to us this past week in need of several radio system repairs, we found numerous issues today and of course will be addressing all of them in a prompt manner to assure they have good reliable communications again. Many people and companies for that matter, often have a hard time finding someone reliable and professional for their two-way radio repairs. If you or your company are in need of two-way radio or C.B repairs, we will be happy to take care of your radio communication needs! For those of you who are not fans of AI and tired of hearing about it and seeing all the ridiculous AI generated images etc. There is some potentially good news, granted I have my own thoughts such as it will no longer be free, it will become yet another service add-on you will most likely end up paying for should you choose to use it. St. Maries clients, sorry about some disruptions today in service, they were brief but I know they are always at impeccable timing for the things you may have been doing online lol, I assure you it was not intentional to cause you any stress. These disruptions were planned but not scheduled, sometimes things come up that need attention and addressed more quickly than during late night hours. The changes and upgrades I completed today will help assure we keep delivering you the most reliable and local internet in the region. Some changes included adding additional gps sync, enhanced modulation schemes for additional bandwidth to prepare for future increases of speed, and just some overall house cleaning of our configs at some busy sites. During this time we found a handful of clients as well who need to get some upgraded equipment- complimentary of course- and we will be rolling out in the next week taking care of those. Hope everyone has a safe 4th of July and Happy 250th Birthday USA!

We do more than just internet and security cameras, we also do 2-way radio. Over 30 years in the telecom industry, we have a solution for almost any communications need. Today we setup lower cost yet commercial grade radios for a group of people that are avid backcountry ATV riders. This allows all the people in their crew to communicate either thru one of our repeaters on a mountain or simply talk around channel. Many of you may have noticed, some more than others, we have just increased our speeds for a majority of our customers! That's right, at no additional charge to you, we have increased the allowed bandwidth to a majority of our customers. Many will see closer to 30mbps rather than 10mbps.

Over the past 2 decades we have come a long ways and drastically improved our network reliability, speed, and sustainability. Many moons ago we offered 1.5mbps for 45/mo, then we went up to 3mbps, then 7, then 10mbps all for the same price.

Although we have opened up the gates on bandwidth to our end users, this is still in early stages of testing, monitoring, and optimizing. As time progresses we will more easily be able to detect and adjust our network in areas where things may not be quiet as optimized as others. So at this time we are still doing "best effort" 10mbps for our Platinum package clients but we have opened those limits to 35mbps. --Jason

We are also still offering 100mbps for 100 bucks in St. Maries (select locations need surveyed) and some locations around Lake CDA.
