A morning well spent 🌹

Good photos, new friends, and a little time behind the lens! We loved spending the morning, last Saturday, with our Eugene photography community at Owen Rose Garden, capturing beautiful blooms in fall, and meeting fellow photo lovers along the way!

The fun didn’t stop there! We headed back to The Shutterbug store on Coburg road afterward to print some of the awesome photos we took, because the best photos deserve a spot off your camera roll and in your hands! 🖨️✨

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out, shared their creativity, and made this photo walk so special. We loved spending bringing photographers together and can’t wait for the next one!

Staff Picks 📸 Meet Sean!

If you’ve spent any time at our Shutterbug Superstore in Salem, you may know Sean! He’s part of our Salem team and specializes in wedding photography, so he knows a thing or two about gear that needs to be reliable, practical, and easy to use when you’re moving fast.

We asked him to pick a few of his favorite pieces of gear from The Shutterbug, and these two made the list:

Kinda chic to love your job. 📸

It’s been about a year since I joined The Shutterbug as the marketing manager, and I’m so thankful this job has given me a reason to pick up my cameras again!

But one of the best parts? Getting to actually be part of the photography community. Over the past year I’ve joined photo walks, spent a day photographing the tulips, helped bring our Photo Expo to life, and met photographers of every experience level along the way!

And I get to do all of that alongside a team of people who genuinely love photography and care about every customer who walks through our doors. It’s pretty special to work somewhere where the people around you are just excited about what they do as you are.

A year later, I’m still constantly meeting new people, learning something new, and finding another reason to love what I do! 📸❤️

Today, we’re celebrating a pretty incredible milestone: Kyla has been part of the Shutterbug family for 20 YEARS!! 🎉❤️

We’re so thankful for all the hard work, dedication, and care she’s brought to our team over the years. Having someone who has been part of The Shutterbug for two decades is something truly special, and we’re so lucky to have her on our Eugene team!
