On January 5th, 2009 we started Tailor-Made AV. We began with servicing our long-time Tweeter clients and helping out those who were purchasing from, or left hanging by, the liquidation of Tweeter. Through hard work, great relationships, and developing a great team (looking at you, Tom), we continued developing what has been largely a referral-based business. Apparently, you like us, because we do very little in the way of marketing!

To our clients, thank you for trusting us with your homes. We never take that trust for granted, and for every bit of evolution in our offerings, we push that much harder to ensure we offer the best service and support we can. We started out just offering entertainment-based systems for television, surround sound, and multi-zone music, but our offerings have grown to include Control4 home automation, outdoor AV systems, Unifi networks with property-wide WiFi 7, Unifi Protect surveillance, motorized shades, lighting and climate control, and now voice control through Josh.AI. You now trust us with so much more, and many have done so for over 17 years now. We cannot thank you enough!

Today we celebrate 17 years in business, and we look forward to many more years of serving you.

Today, January 5th, TMAV turns 15 years old...

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our clients, staff (past and present), friends, and family for all of their support over the last fifteen years. Our business, along with our industry as a whole, has evolved so much, especially in the last five years. Where back in 2009 the questions were primarily, "can you install my TV here", or, "can I listen to music there", now the requests have expanded to wanting WiFi-6E across every inch of their property to automating window treatments and lighting control. TV installs have transitioned from the ability to hang a 60-inch "plasma" over a fireplace to recessing a motorized lift into a stone wall. Want to recess a TV mount into the wall, so your 75-inch OLED has a flush appearance? We can do that.

TMAV has even gained the ability to deal with Comcast on our clients' behalf, as CXI integrator partners. We're able to order services, alter services, and troubleshoot Xfinity services without our clients even having to pick up their phone. Remote maintenance of a client's Ubiquiti Inc network and their Control4 system have made us able to ensure maximum uptime of all services within a home, where working from home and post-covid everyday life have maximized our clients' time in their home.

We've transitioned over the last fifteen years, from the "TV guys" to the go-to team for keeping their communications and entertainment online. We're proud of that reputation and hope we can keep it for fifteen more and beyond. Thank you, from all of us to all of you!

There are several options for mounting a TV flush to a wall. Samsung's "The Frame" is one, but it's not for everyone. With this project, the client wanted a truly excellent TV, so we proposed a Sony A90J Series OLED. However, their open-concept space, and its panoramic views of the ocean, meant that someone standing in their kitchen would see "the guts" of their TV installation if we didn't do something to prevent that. Enter Future Automation and their in-wall articulating mount solution. Now, this TV installation is *almost* as beautiful as their view!

After nine days on-site, these are the final rack photos from the completion of our replace/rehab project up in the White Mountains. As always, our team went above and beyond, and it's amazing! Great job Greg & Tom!

These are a few progress and completion photos from a project we completed after almost two years. A beautiful home on the shores of Winnipesaukee, and TMAV was happy to provide the family with music throughout the home, multiple TV locations, two surround sound systems, motorized shades, integrated climate control, Wi-Fi throughout the home and so, so much more.

Getting involved from the very beginning made all the difference on this project, letting us make recommendations as things were planned, rather than having to come up with solutions for things that are already in progress.

This is one we are pretty proud of! We hope to have a few more finished photos soon...

Today begins a combination replace/rehab project for a new client up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. New projects from scratch are great, but there is definitely something beyond gratifying in taking a lackluster existing system (both in installation quality and function) and turning it into a showpiece. When a client has had a bad experience with another integrator, we love to show them what a better experience can be like and truly appreciate their trust. We can't wait to show you progress and completion photos of this one!
