New merchandise, networking decisions (like a potential app), and creative design opportunities are endless, so I enjoyed creating poses with a business mindset. They were also created to add some more fun to the workplace, such as the stickers, as well as share a gift to my coworkers. I hope they enjoy them.

I primarily made these avatars to help promote and generate ideas for marketing and branding for the award-winning escape room business I loved. New merchandise, networking decisions (like a potential app), and creative design opportunities are endless, so I enjoyed creating poses with a business mindset.

The characters mostly portray differing poses to be used for various marketing scenarios. I also followed through requests of what my coworkers wanted to look like, even a specific avatar pose. I’m very proud with how these turned out.

They’re finally here: characters of each of my coworkers from The Exit Games in Wilmington, NC! What began as a drawing of my three bosses in April 2020 evolved into a project of more than 30 unique avatars featuring me and my coworkers. I did most of the work between February and April 2021, but moving out of state soon after created a huge suspension. I’m excited to say after so much time and hard work that the avatars are ready to be revealed. Pictures are coming soon.

Pardon my hiatus.
Due to major life events (like moving to the Carolinas TODAY 😃) and temporary lack of resources like Adobe, I have not posted on Instagram of late. I’m taking huge steps towards the right direction this year though, so you’ll definitely see more from me later on.
Here’s a blueprint (and “white” print) of one design I’ll make this year. It’s the idea I told you a while back about,

Happy April! 🔴⚫️🔴⚫️🔴
Last year, I dreamt of this design, but I put off executing this dream until I could hand paint the words with my dominant hand and tablet.
Now, it’s come to life, just the way I envisioned it, to commemorate my favorite song by the Stones.
It’s based on the font “Fontania”, but individually painting each letter for the first time ever is so bizarre and freeing. This will definitely be applied in logo branding in the future.

Flashback more than three years ago. My first official digital painting made with a tablet. Soon after this was made as a college class final project, I put my tablet in storage (never to come back).
This is a portrait of Nikolas, a steampunk machinist from the old app game “Chain Chronicles”. I only painted for two hours: no blending, unfinished, and quickly brushed. It was a joy to make with my dominant hand. ✍️
Picking up digital painting again after three years is a blessing, and I can’t wait for my skills to flourish beyond imagination in illustration, graphic design, and web design.

Pikachu emerges!
My most honed-in digitally painted artwork yet, and this is just my third ever. I used oil brushes, blending, rulers & guides, airbrushes... all on a Wacom tablet and software.
I ❤️ Pikachu, but I’ve got more original ideas to unleash and experiment. More artwork coming up this week.

This is not an egg. 🥚
This is a vectored digitally-made design I made with Adobe. This is also a 52 million liked representation of an egg on Instagram.
Later on, I’ll make a video of how I prepared this egg. 🍳

I feel like a kid again! For Christmas, I got a Wacom Intuos tablet again. ❤️ I had bought one before and briefly used it before I put it in the storage units in Charleston.
As I posted before, the units flooded and rotted, destroyed everything in them, including my paintings, clothes, family photos, furniture, and 60% of my belongings. I told myself when I get a new drawing tablet again, I can finally put all of it in the past. I lost a lot of time where I could have drawn digital art with my dominant hand, but now I have the chance again.
This year is a fresh start of learning illustration and defining my design skills. Get ready!

A and one of my favorite pictures from my oldest sister’s wedding. There’s my cousin on the left, along with two of my sisters below. Both of them are each getting married this year in a few months, and I can’t wait to be there for both of them. ❤️ I love my family.
