We had the honor of making this video for the Concho Valley PAWS annual Fur Ball. It was amazing to share the stories of those who found more than just a pet, but a friend as well. Having the time and budget to really focus on the pre-production of a commercial—ideas, scripting, finding good actors, designing the location, hiring a team—fills our creative tank and leads to such a satisfying result.

What does a complete video campaign look like with By the Stream Media? Our project with Kent L**e Fast Oil Change Center is a great example where we delivered 12 unique commercial spots, in 5 different formats, for a total of 60 deliverable videos.

Its starts with Preproduction - creative meetings, a creative brief to map out ideas and pick a direction, script writing, location scouting, actor calls, getting props, and storyboarding to make sure everything mapped out and to make sure the next part goes smoothly.

The fun part, Production day - Setting up lights, cameras, and other equipment, directing talent, diligently checking our shoot schedule, and problem solving with the sunlight, background sounds, or other random things that you can never plan for.

Then we put it all together in Post Production - organizing all the media, the culling process of getting rid of all the bad takes and finding all the good stuff, rough edits, finished edits, sound sweetening, sound effects, color correction, special effects, graphics, and saving in various sizes and formats.

Travel is a big part of our job, and those days out of town are often some of our longest and most tiring. So grateful to be able to bring the family along this week, sandy car and sunburns and all. If you know us, you know our families are the real reason we work as hard as we do.
