You can now import PDF files into Flat and turn them into fully editable scores — alongside MusicXML and MIDI.

Whether you're using printed parts, scanned scores, or archived PDFs, there’s no need to recreate everything note by note. Simply upload your file and move straight into editing, arranging, transposing, or reshaping your music inside the editor. It builds on the same import system you already know — just with more possibilities.

Available now on Web, and Android. Coming soon to iOS!

Your scores just got a professional polish 🎼

We’ve released a new update focused on how your music is laid out on the page.

💡Here’s what’s new:

✔️ Barlines now appear after clefs and key/time signatures (as they should!)
✔️ Changes in key and meter now appear at the end of a system too — perfect for performers
✔️ Spacing between staves adjusts automatically to avoid collisions
✔️ Accent marks and dynamics align directly with their notes — no more weird gaps

These are the kind of changes you’ll feel as you write: less cleanup, faster workflow, clearer scores.
