Meet Some of the Team 🇺🇸
Travis Wilson spent a total of 21 yrs in the U.S. Army. 13 of those in Special Forces as a U.S. Army Green Beret stationed at 10th Special Forces Group in Fort Carson Colorado. Prior to joining
the Army Travis attended Wentworth Military Academy on a Football scholarship. After attending 1 yr of school he enlisted in the Army to start his Military career. He was originally stationed at Fort Richardson AK where he served as an Airborne Medic in the 1-501st ABN Battalion. In 1999 he
attended SFAS to try his luck at becoming a Green Beret. He was selected to attend the Qualification Course but opted to take a break and attend Boise State University and walk on to the Hockey Team. After finishing school in 2003 Travis re-entered the Army and attended the Q course. Upon completion Travis was stationed at Fort Carson CO for the remainder of his career.
In those years at Fort Carson, Travis deployed in defense of our nation to various combat zones such as Iraq and parts of Africa. He also deployed to non-combat zones as a combat advisor advising militaries in the defense of their nations. In all Travis has 9 deployments.
In 2011 Travis had a near fatal Military Freefall accident that kept him in the Hospital for a week. From that accident and multiple deployments, Travis has had a total of 13 surgeries on his body. Surgeries and a recovery that were aided by the Green Beret Foundation. It was one of Travis's knee replacements that the Green Beret Foundation reached out to him and offered a machine called the Game Ready. The game ready sped up the healing process and lessened the need for pain medication. Medications that a lot of our nation’s finest develop a dependency on.
Currently Travis is the Owner of Alpha Elite Performance, a supplement nutrition company based out of Montgomery, TX. He and his lovely wife Emily Wilson run the day to day as well as being the lead ambassador for the Green Beret Foundation.
