On this day in 2008, Google released the Chrome browser! By 2012, Chrome took over as the #1 web browser and knocked Microsoft's Internet Explorer off a 13-year lead. By 2015, Chrome had 50% of the web browser market. By 2021, Chrome had an estimated 3.2 billion users worldwide! Do you use Chrome?

Today in 2001, Microsoft released Windows XP. The Windows 2000 and Windows ME successor. Windows XP dominated the world's operating system race until late 2012 when the newer version, Windows 7, began to gain market share and outpaced Windows XP. Do you remember Windows XP? Do you still have a Windows XP computer? We sure hope not!
