iPhone 8 No Power Repair. This iPhone was brought in because it would not turn on. The owner said he took it to two places before bringing it to us. He was told it could not be fixed. A short while later, we found a capacitor that had failed connected to the main power line or VDD main. After removing the bad capacitor, the iPhone now turns on, charges and is working properly. Samsung Galaxy S 10.5” Charge Port Repair. This Samsung tablet was no longer charging. After disassembly, we noticed the charge port pins looked strange. So we put it under the microscope and noticed two of the contacts were cracked, most likely due to it being dropped while it was plugged in/ charging.
