Cloud Native Computing Foundation

Cloud Native Computing Foundation CNCF is part of The Linux Foundation.

Cloud native computing uses an open source software stack to deploy applications as microservices, packaging each part into its own container, and dynamically orchestrating those containers to optimize resource utilization. The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) hosts critical components of those software stacks including Kubernetes and Prometheus; brings together the industryโ€™s top developers, end users, and vendors; and serves as a neutral home for collaboration.

On July 28 at ArgoCon Japan, Juan David Arguello Plata (Lead of Open Source Office, Bancolombia) will show how Argo Events and Workflows can serve as an enterprise AI agent gateway where a Slack message triggers a governed, auditable agent workflow scoped through MCP servers.

No bolt-on tooling. The audit trail and retry semantics are already there in Argo's primitives.

A huge portion of Kubernetes outages stem from basic misconfigurations like missing resource limits or incorrect RBAC bindings. The problem is that policy-as-code setups usually surface these errors too late, forcing developers into loops of follow-up commits. โš™๏ธ

By introducing review-time checks directly into pull requests, teams can catch issues early and build shared visibility into infrastructure rules.

Register for KeycloakCon Japan, July 28 in Yokohama, to attend โ€œKeycloak + Sigstore: Binding Human Identity to Artifact Signatures.โ€

Oshi Gupta (Improving) and Sagar Utekar (CrowdStrike) will walk through wiring Keycloak directly into Sigstore's keyless signing flow as the OIDC provider so every signature is cryptographically tied to a verified identity in your own infrastructure.

They'll cover the operational realities too: token expiry mid-build, claim mapping mismatches that silently break verification, and managing service and human identities in the same trust domain.

What is the ultimate value of attending KubeCon + CloudNativeCon? For Yassmine Boukari, a Site Reliability Engineer at Deloitte, it's all about perspective.

Attending the event allowed her to look beyond her immediate company projects and see exactly how the cloud native tools she relies on daily are built and shaped by creators worldwide.

Watch to see how the open source ecosystem can elevate your engineering career!
