Responsibilities
• Provides excellent customer service support to patients, healthcare providers and other contractors
• Screens calls, answers routine inquiries and forwards complex inquiries to appropriate personnel/department
• Verifies patient accounts to appropriately document and triage phone calls
• Consistently follows up appointments and treatment requests
• Effectively communicates with providers and adjusters to follow up reports and authorizations
• Process emails, fax, correspondences and record requests through EMR (electronic medical records) tracking system
• Prepares reports and submits them in a timely manner
• Runs tests
• Process provider dictation reports
• Provides status updates and notes in the EMR system
• Monitors and tracks spreadsheets
• Manages voice calls
• Verifies commercial insurance eligibility and benefits

Qualifications
• Graduate of any business or medical-related course is preferred but not necessary
• Completed at least Year 12 or 2nd year college
• Experience working in a healthcare industry/BPO is an advantage
• Experience working in a medical clinic or office (e.g. medical office administrative assistant) is an advantage
• Tech savy, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and can quickly electronic electronic databases EMR) and systems
• Exceptional customer service skills and phone etiquette
• Great team player
• Can type at least 40 wpm
• Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Experience in working with Workers' Compensation Authorizations
• Fresh graduates who are determined and willing to learn are welcome to apply

Responsibilities:

- Carefully listen to the dictations or recordings of doctors or other healthcare professional, transcribe and interpret it to written reports and/or documents.
- Review recordings accurately and completely
- Decipher and/or translate medical abbreviations and jargon into its long form or phrase
- Enter medical reports into electronic medical record systems
- Submit reports on time

Qualifications:

- A graduate of any medical allied course or with a certificate program from a Medical Transcription school
- Excellent listening skills
- Excellent dictaphone typing skills
- Excellent command of the English Language (grammar, spelling and punctuation)
- One (1) year Medical Transcriptionist work experience is an advantage
- Typing speed of at least 40 wpm
- With a wide range of medical terminology
- Familiarity with HIPPA an advantage
- Must be detail-oriented and must possess effective time management skills
- Graveyard shift
