Dysfunctional Computers offers flat rates based on your needs:
-Diagnostic - $25 (This covers our initial assessment of what needs to happen and to determine what the issue is. We will check what type of hardware you have and see how the computer is actually running)
-Repair/Cleanup/Optimization - $50/hr (This removes any unwanted viruses or adware that is hiding in your computer. We install a variety of tools to search and destroy any malicious files embedded in your computer. We then optimize your computer to run at its highest capacity. Over time our computers get bogged down with muck just like our minds and need to be refreshed and restored to keep optimal performance.)
-Refresh/Reinstall Windows - $60/hr (This is a last resort. Sometimes computers become so corrupt that a reinstallation of windows needs to be done. There are a couple different ways to do this. A system restore can restore a system to a previous state that was working if it was saved on your windows. In the event of not having a restore point or that restore point is corrupt, we can reinstall windows. Not to worry there is a feature that will save all your precious memories and important files. If you no longer want to keep those files, then we can also do a hard reset. A hard reset is a process of reverting a device back to the state it was in when shipped from the factory. That is to say, it erases all data including apps, user profiles, and settings. This will only need to happen if everything else fails, if you are wanting to sell or just start over.)
