It was a great pleasure to work with Dr. Kimia Shakerpoor Battistoni on a logo on a logo for her new project, The Maternal Motion, a science-based blog about exercise during pregnancy. We got coffee and talked about the logo she wanted. She didn’t have a concrete idea of what it should look like, but wanted something with cozy vibes, flowers and maybe to incorporate coffee – all things that she loves.
I can definitely get on board with coffee and cozy vibes, so I got to work and we settled on this logo after only a few revisions. Then I made a lot of different variations so she can use the logo in different situations and for different purposes: horizontal and vertical spaces, on a dark background, in one color as line art only, just the cup for a watermark etc.
It was such a pleasure to bring Kimia’s vision to life. I can’t wait to see her blog get going!
