We’re excited to share that Selventhiran Rengaraj, Solutions Architect at MulticoreWare, presented the research paper “SimEx-ViT: Explainable Vision Transformer with Similarity-Based Attention Modulation” at the 21st International Conference on Computer Analysis of Images and Patterns (CAIP 2025) in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.

This work, authored by Selventhiran under the guidance of Viswanathan (Vish) RAJALINGAM and Dr. Satyajit Das, was carried out under the MAGIC collaboration between MulticoreWare and IIT Palakkad. The paper introduces a novel explainable ViT framework that enhances transparency in model decisions while keeping computational overhead minimal.
