Thomas Rondeau, for instance, is an admirer of , an alternative waveform technology to the OFDM used in today's 5G networks. In integrated sensing and communication ( ), a feature with military uses, OTFS could be especially valuable. But Cohere Technologies, perhaps the best-known OTFS developer, cannot bring its software products into networks unless the Nordic vendors allow it.
