FlytBase

FlytBase Enterprise drone autonomy software platform FlytBase provides drone agnostic software solutions to automate and scale drone operations.

It is the world’s first Internet of Drones Platform (IoD), that allows easy deployment of intelligent drone fleets, connected with cloud-based business applications. The commercial drone industry is moving towards fully autonomous BVLOS operations. These drone operations cannot be scaled without automation and connectivity. FlytBase leverages its IoD Platform to provide drone agnostic software sol

utions for Remote Drone Operations, Emergency Response, Automated Inspections, Security & Surveillance, Warehouse Management, Delivery, etc., integrated with automated Drone-in-a-box solutions. FlytBase won the Global NTT Data Innovation Contest 2019 in Tokyo, Japan. FlytBase graduated from Cisco Launch Pad Accelerator Program in 2017 and was awarded the TiE50 Top-Startup award by TiE Silicon Valley.

FlytBase Ports is here: Physical AI for maritime port intelligence, with autonomous drone agents powered by Verkos AI.

Modern ports move thousands of vessels, assets, and people every single day. Fixed cameras and manual inspections can’t keep up with the scale, the speed, or the security risks. So we built drone docks and AI agents that run the operations ports can’t afford to get wrong.

[Dark Fleet Verification] Cross-reference live AIS data with aerial drone intelligence to catch vessels spoofing their identities, broadcasting false transponder signals, going dark, or showing suspicious activity around the harbor. This is the number one maritime security concern for ports today, and it now runs autonomously.

[Oil Sheen Detection] Automated waterway patrols use thermal imaging and AI to detect environmental anomalies early, then generate evidence-ready, GPS-tagged compliance reports for regulators and authorities.

[PPE Compliance] Missing helmets, high-visibility vests, and other safety violations are flagged in real time, creating a fully searchable record for EHS and audit teams.

Drone docks, thermal imaging, AIS integration, and remote monitoring, working together at the waterfront to deliver safety, environmental compliance, and full situational awareness at scale.

This is what Physical AI looks like for port authorities, terminal operators, and maritime security teams.

Security operations have not fundamentally changed in decades. Fixed cameras covering what they can see. Guards patrolling what they can reach. And in between, the blind spots where threats develop undetected.

A perimeter sensor fires. A guard vehicle starts moving. By the time it reaches the fence line, the situation has already developed without anyone watching it.

FlytBase connects to every sensor, every alarm, and every camera system already on site. The moment a trigger fires, a drone is moving toward a confirmed GPS coordinate, with an AI agent classifying the threat before any guard is dispatched. Through the night, scheduled patrols cover the gaps between fixed cameras automatically. After dark, thermal imaging catches what no visible-light camera can.

Every detection logged. Every incident timestamped and ready for export. Multiple sites running from one screen without scaling the team.

FlytBase is building the aerial operating system for the world's most complex environments. This is what security operations look like when the blind spots close.

Every operation generates more data than it can act on.

Footage piles up across shifts. The moments that demanded action were there, recorded, timestamped, and completely missed until it was too late to do anything about them.

Verkos runs detection continuously against every frame, every feed, every patrol. Incidents flagged the moment they happen. Subjects tracked automatically once detected. Forensic search that pulls exactly what matters from hours of recorded footage in seconds. Every detection compiled into a timestamped, scored incident report, ready for escalation or audit before the shift ends.

Every frame working. Every moment seen.

Public safety teams respond to emergencies and missing persons every day. And still, 95% of calls get ground-only response. Between the moment a call fires and the moment first responders arrive, commanders are deploying resources on incomplete information. That intelligence gap is where situations escalate.

When FlytBase is running, the aerial picture arrives before the ground unit does. A suspect tracked and confirmed before officers walk in. A heat signature located and pinned before the search team reaches the terrain. AI agents detecting smoke, monitoring crowd density, and surfacing critical insights to commanders in real time, before decisions have to be made blind.

FlytBase is building the platform that turns aerial coverage into operational intelligence. This is what public safety looks like when it is fully connected.

Scaling autonomous drone operations in Australia just got a whole lot clearer.

As Australia moves into the BVLOS era, enterprises and drone operators need two things to work together that have rarely come together in one place: the regulatory confidence to fly compliantly and the operational platform to scale without limits.

We are proud to announce our partnership with Yarra Drones, one of Australia's most trusted names in UTM delivery and drone compliance. Selected by Airservices Australia as a UAS Services Supplier and CASA-approved since 2023, Yarra Drones has spent years building the regulatory foundation that serious drone programs in Australia need. FlytBase brings the autonomous operations layer, the globally deployed, hardware-agnostic platform built for operators who are ready to scale.

Excited to be building this with the Yarra Drones team.

Ports are among the most regulated environments in the world. And still, vessels run dark. Oil sheens spread across berths undetected. Workers operate without PPE in active zones. Inspection cycles miss what only an aerial view would catch.

The ground was never the right vantage point for what modern port operations demand.

Security threats, environmental violations, safety breaches, inspection gaps. The scale and pace of a working port has outgrown the infrastructure built to monitor it. What changes when you add the aerial layer is not just coverage. It is the quality of what gets seen, documented, and acted on before it becomes a liability.

FlytBase is building the aerial operating system for the world's most complex environments. This is what it looks like inside a maritime port.

When we started out with planning NestGen Retreat, we had one simple idea. Bring the right people together and give them the space to have honest conversations.

None of us fully imagined what those five days would become. The bonds formed between people who had never met, coming from opposite ends of the world, yet solving the same problems. The conversations that refused to end. The shared realization that this industry is worth every bit of the work it demands.

The drone industry had never seen anything like this before. And we are only getting started.

NestGen Retreat 2026.

An unbarricaded excavation. Two workers inside it without hard hats. Three violations in the same zone, flagged in the same flight.

Construction site compliance does not fail all at once. A barricade goes up late. A worker skips the hard hat for a quick task. Small gaps that individually seem manageable but compound into something significantly more serious when they overlap in the same zone at the same time.

The Verkos Construction Site Monitoring Agent caught all three simultaneously in a single pass. Excavation without barricade at 99% confidence. Two workers without hard hats at 98% and 97%. Three detections, three alerts, before anyone had walked that section of the site.

The violations were not reported after the fact. They were flagged while they were still happening.

A railway corridor is not a point. It is hundreds of kilometres of track, embankments, drainage systems, and infrastructure that ground teams can only check section by section, one at a time.

After heavy rain, the question is never whether something has been affected. It is where. A flooded section can sit undetected for hours while trains are rerouted on assumptions, ground crews are dispatched to the wrong locations, and operations teams are making decisions without a clear picture of what the corridor actually looks like.

One patrol flight. 98% confidence. Flooding on the tracks, location confirmed, alert sent. The Verkos Railroad Operation Management Agent gave the operations team a clear picture of the corridor before a single ground crew was in the field.

During our Europe tour, Rohan Pisipati, our Account Executive for Europe, spent two days with the Skeye team in the Netherlands.

Two days going deep into where their program is today, the operational challenges they are working through, and their vision for scaling. Skeye runs drone-in-a-box deployments across offshore oil and gas sites and some of the most demanding environments in Europe, and they were the first operator in the Netherlands to hold an LUC certificate, giving them the ability to self-approve BVLOS operations across the entire EU.

Proud to have them as a FlytBase partner.
