eater sales and captivating creative that moves your target audience. A proud woman-owned, full-service marketing and creative agency, Waltz Creative began as Schipper Design, founded by Kathy Schipper in 2004. Led by a new generation, our diverse team of designers, marketers, strategists and account managers work together and in tandem with you to deliver on-time and on-budget. Home base is San Juan Bautista, California, where we are situated in between the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley and amongst the beauty and bounty of the agriculturally and culturally-rich Central Coast. We are also proud to give back to our community. Founded in 2017, our Creatives for Community program provides local nonprofits with design grants. This annual program allows nonprofits access to services that are often out of reach for small organizations and empowers them to better compete with for-profit counterparts.

Most STEM enrollment campaigns lead with the program. The I Am STEM campaign for Monterey Peninsula College went beyond the typical approach, showing students that STEM is much more than a collection of disciplines; it's an identity.

Students don't take STEM, they are STEM.

The campaign was built around that declaration, breaking STEM into four sub-campaigns, one for each discipline, each with its own supporting graphics, student voice and bilingual expression.

We brought the concept to life through a refresh of the campaign identity, a custom photo shoot that put real MPC STEM students front and center, social media posts and a series of posters distributed to local feeder schools and displayed across MPC's Monterey and Marina campuses.

When students see themselves in a campaign, they can see themselves in the program. And when they can see themselves in the program, they take the next step to enroll.

An integrated campaign isn't defined by how many channels it touches. It's defined by how consistent the experience feels no matter where your audience encounters it.

Consistency keeps every touchpoint on brand. Coherence ensures each message builds logically on the last. Coordination aligns timing and sequencing across channels. Continuity carries it all the way through. When those four things work together, a campaign doesn't just reach people. It moves them.

A campaign idea worth building is one that holds up everywhere it goes. In an inbox, on a feed, at a trade show and on a highway billboard, the same concept, the same message, wherever it shows up. A well-built campaign doesn't lose its thread when it goes somewhere unexpected.

A direct mailer with two fresh cantaloupes in hand-painted boxes sent to key retail buyers is one of our most memorable campaign deliverables. The format was unexpected. The message was unmistakable.

What's the most unique channel or format you've seen a campaign translate successfully?

The most effective campaigns are built around a deep understanding of their audience. In MedTech, that means speaking the language of clinicians, administrators and purchasing decision-makers who need precision and credibility above all else.

A partnership with GE Healthcare gave Gentuity direct visibility with exactly that audience. The technology was already best-in-class. The campaign needed to make sure the right people knew it.

We built the identity around a single headline: "When Others Can't Reach, Visualize, or Plan, Gentuity CAN." A visual system built for clinical precision carried that message across social templates, LinkedIn posts and a sales sheet, each piece designed to put a best-in-class technology in front of the people making the decisions.

The Housing Builds Wellness campaign for Housing Matters, a long-time nonprofit client, started with a reframe. Rather than focusing on what homelessness takes away, we led with what stable housing provides: wellness. And from wellness flows everything else, dignity, opportunity, connection, tranquility, resilience, hope and belonging.

Those two ideas carried Housing Matters' brand and mission into every channel their community interacts with, email, social posts, Instagram Stories and out-of-home advertising. Each format adapted to its audience while staying rooted in the same visual identity and message.

Showing what's possible instead of what's lost changes perspectives about an ongoing community challenge. That's the work this campaign was built to do.

Happy 11-year Waltz anniversary to Senior Designer Kamryn, one of Waltz's most thoughtful and detail-driven creatives.

With a bright spirit and a genuine love for adventure, Kamryn approaches everything with positivity and curiosity, whether she's traveling somewhere new, soaking up sunshine at the beach or diving into a fresh design challenge. A precise creative with an easygoing personality, she has brought that same energy to Waltz since day one and it shows in every project she touches.

A campaign is a brand's most deliberate attempt to connect with the people it's trying to reach. It can be beautifully executed, perfectly timed and still miss the audience it was built for.

Ideation and iteration are what do that work, moving a concept from something that looks good to something that actually connects. That means defining what success looks like before the brief is written, building strategy around how the audience actually makes decisions and refining until nothing is arbitrary.

That's the foundation a campaign needs to do more than generate impressions. It's what turns a campaign into a conversation that moves the right people to act.

Most campaigns are built around a message. The ones that last are built around an idea.

From there, the best ones use personalization, storytelling and targeted engagement to make every touchpoint feel intentional rather than incidental.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens through research, ideation and a strategy refined until every piece earns its place.
