When the technology works, you don't notice it.

A church service.
A boardroom meeting.
A wedding.
A school presentation.
A special event.

Different settings. Different needs. But one thing they have in common:

The technology needs to work.

When the microphone cuts out, the presentation won't display, or the audio isn't reaching the room clearly, the technology suddenly becomes part of the experience — for all the wrong reasons.

A little preparation can prevent a lot of those interruptions.

Test the system. Test it in the actual space. Test it again before people arrive. And make sure someone knows who's responsible for the technology.

Because when the AV is doing its job, the people in the room can focus on what actually matters.

That's what we want for every space we work in.

When Westgate Church opened its new Redwood City campus, they started with a traditional TV display. A few months later, they began exploring whether an LED wall might better serve their space and their needs.

We helped them make that transition with a solution designed specifically for their room.

From TV to LED Wall

When Westgate Church launched its new Redwood City campus, they started with a television for their visual presentation.

A few months into using the space, they began considering whether an LED wall might better serve their needs.

They didn't start with the biggest or most elaborate solution. They started with what made sense for them — and then, as they got to know the space and how they were using it, they began exploring what might be next.

That's where AVIMO came in.

We helped them transition from a traditional TV display to an LED wall designed for their space and the way they use it.

An LED wall might be more attainable than you think. The right solution isn't necessarily the biggest or newest technology. It's about finding what fits your space, your needs, and your vision.

For those of you who know AVIMO, you know we're a family business.

We usually use this page to share the projects we're working on and the organizations we have the privilege of serving.

Today, we'd like to share a little of the family behind AVIMO.

Over the years, Joel grew up around this business. Some of our favorite memories are of him waiting patiently at events, sitting behind sound boards that were much bigger than he was, helping in the warehouse, and eventually becoming part of the AVIMO team.

This past weekend, we helped him move into Simpson University, where he'll begin an exciting new chapter as a student-athlete after earning a football scholarship. He'll be majoring in Communications with a concentration in Digital Media.

As parents, it's a moment we've prayed for, prepared for...and one we're still learning to process.

Like many parents, we're experiencing two emotions at the same time.

We're incredibly proud...
..and we're already missing him.

As we looked back through these photos, we were reminded that the years really do go by faster than we imagine.

To everyone who has supported AVIMO over the years—whether you've been a client, a partner, or simply someone who has encouraged our family along the way—thank you. You've been part of a journey that's bigger than business, and we're grateful for every relationship we've built along the way.

⛪️One building. 🤝Two congregations. One shared AV system.

That was the challenge Revelation Ministries brought to us.
The goal wasn't simply to install new equipment. It was to create a system that allowed two congregations to share the same worship space while giving each ministry the flexibility to worship the way they needed.

That also meant extending training to volunteers from both congregations so everyone could confidently operate the new system.

Seeing that space come alive with worship afterward was a great reminder that every project starts with listening and ends with people connecting.

Thank you, Revelation Ministries, for trusting AVIMO to be part of this chapter of your journey.

It's easy to look at the finished room and focus on the equipment.

But every project starts much earlier—with a walkthrough, questions, and a lot of listening.

This church had a vision for its space, and it was a privilege to be part of bringing that vision to life.

I love seeing these before-and-after moments because they remind me that every project starts with a conversation.
