But sealing the Ethernet cable often means juggling a bunch of small pieces, and if something isn’t installed quite right, water can still get in.

10 years ago, Verkada was four founders with an idea and a couple of cameras installed at their parents’ houses.

Today, we’re helping organizations around the world keep their people and places safer. And we wouldn’t be here without the employees, customers, and partners who believed in what we were building along the way.

We’re incredibly grateful for how far we’ve come, and even more excited about how far we can go.

Following the announcement of NVIDIA's strategic investment in Verkada and our technical collaboration, we welcomed Deepu Talla, VP & GM of Robotics & Edge AI at NVIDIA, to HQ for a conversation with our CEO about the partnership, employee questions, and one important topic: how far away are we from teleportation?

A few takeaways:

➡️ Physical AI has reached an inflection point. Just as breaking the 10-second barrier in the 100m marks elite performance, AI models are reaching the level of accuracy needed to meaningfully transform real-world operations.

➡️ The bar is different in the physical world. While many AI applications can tolerate occasional mistakes, physical AI systems need to perform with near-impeccable accuracy because they're helping people make decisions in real environments.

➡️ Collaboration accelerates progress. Deepu shared how technologies like NVIDIA Cosmos foundation models and synthetic data are advancing Physical AI, including the work we're doing together to improve AI-powered search and spatial-temporal understanding.

It was a great opportunity for our teams to hear directly from one of the leaders shaping the future of AI, ask questions, and learn more about where this technology is headed.
