The latest Windows 11 update, KB5043145, is causing significant issues for many users, including boot loops, Blue Screens of Death (BSOD), Green Screens of Death (GSOD), and malfunctioning USB ports. After installing this update, some systems enter repeated restart loops, fail to boot entirely, or trigger the Windows Automatic Repair tool.

These issues have primarily affected users running Windows 11 versions 22H2 and 23H2, with reports coming in from both Intel and AMD system owners. In addition, the update has broken support for WSL2 and caused the disappearance of WiFi options on certain devices. Although the update is optional, many users have experienced automatic installation, resulting in unexpected system failures [oai_citation:2,Windows 11 KB5043145 update causes reboot loops, blue screens](https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/windows-11-kb5043145-update-causes-reboot-loops-blue-screens/) [oai_citation:1,Windows 11 KB5043145 BSODs PCs, breaks mouse, keyboard, WSL 2, WiFi](https://www.windowslatest.com/2024/09/30/windows-11-kb5043145-bsods-pcs-breaks-mouse-keyboard-wsl-2-wifi/).

If you’ve already installed KB5043145 and are experiencing these problems, it’s recommended to boot into recovery mode and uninstall the update using the Advanced Options menu or Command Prompt. For those who haven’t installed it yet, consider pausing updates until Microsoft releases a fix.

For more details on how to uninstall the update or address specific errors, you can refer to the full articles on [Bleeping Computer](https://www.bleepingcomputer.com) and [Windows Latest](https://www.windowslatest.com).
