This might have been the first jump scare I ever experienced in a videogame. The fact that you can't have your flashlight and shotgun out at the same time really made this quite the experience. Doom is a legendary game series that was in part created here in North Texas. Doom 3 however, was the beginning of a new age of horror in gaming.
