From Auckland to Beyond: Arnel's 11-Year Journey with Deltapath

Arnel Violanda recently returned from our Leadership Summit in Auckland. After 11 incredible years with Deltapath, he wanted to share his reflection on growth, leadership, and what this journey means to him:

Attending Deltapath's Leadership Summit in Auckland was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. Being directly involved in discussions alongside our leadership team gave me a deeper understanding of Deltapath's vision and direction, and opened new opportunities for growth.

Reaching more than 10 years with Deltapath is a milestone I'm deeply proud of. Like any long journey, it hasn't always been smooth. There have been challenges, uncertainties, and moments when the path ahead wasn't clear. But just like navigating through fog or heavy rain on the road, every obstacle taught me resilience and strengthened our teamwork.

What truly makes this experience special is the people. It's the colleagues you grow with, the leaders who believe in your potential, and the culture that helps shape your future. I often think of it as a team guided by caring shepherds—leaders who make sure no one gets left behind, and who are always ready to guide you back when you lose your way.

This New Zealand trip gave me meaningful reflections. Coming from the fast-paced life of Hong Kong, the calmness and balance I experienced there reminded me that life is about so much more than the daily routine of home and office. It's also about pausing, reflecting, and living with intention. When you take care of your life, you bring better energy, clarity, and purpose back to everything that matters.

This trip reinforced why I continue to grow with Deltapath: because here, growth is not just about the business, but about people, purpose, and the journey we share together. 💙

Congratulations to Masaki Tsunematsu-san for his 10th year anniversary at Deltapath!

On July 1, 2015, Deltapath Japan began its journey—renting a partner’s meeting room as our first office. This year marks our 10th anniversary, a milestone that invites both reflection and gratitude. Looking back, these ten years have felt both long and fleeting, filled with challenges that shaped who we are today.

There were periods when progress was difficult and several other members moved on. The three years following 2020 brought further hurdles with the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly impacting our focus sectors of healthcare and eldercare. In hindsight, much of this decade has been defined by perseverance through adversity.

Throughout it all, I have been fortunate to work alongside Justin Silva, whose partnership between engineering and sales has been invaluable. Our shared drive enabled us to move forward efficiently and effectively. Over time, more partners came to recognize our passion and commitment—today, nearly 20 partners stand with us, strengthening Deltapath's success in Japan.

What once seemed beyond reach has become reality: collaboration with major corporations and deployments in some of Japan’s leading hospitals. Maintaining belief in Deltapath’s vision and never losing enthusiasm has truly paid off.

Looking ahead, I may not know where I will be ten years from now, but I am determined to build a strong foundation for the next decade of Deltapath's growth in Japan.

Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to David Liu and to everyone at Deltapath who has supported this journey. Your guidance and trust have made these ten years meaningful and rewarding.

2015年7月1日、パートナーの会議室をオフィスとしてお借りし、デルタパスジャパンをスタートさせ、今年で10年が経過しました。この10年間は、振り返ると長くもあり、一方であっという間の時間でした。

ビジネスでなかなか結果が出ない時期には、創業時のメンバーが次々といなくなり、さらに2020年からの3年間はCOVID-19の影響で、注力していた医療・介護市場への導入状況も悪化するなど、10年のほとんどの期間が私にとって試練の連続だったと言えます。

しかし、幸運なことに、営業担当の私とエンジニアのJustinは、ビジネスを進める中で非常に相性が良く、とてもスムーズに業務を進めることができました。その結果、私たちの情熱を感じ取ってくださるパートナーも、1社、また1社と増えていき、今では20社近くのパートナーが私たちのビジネスを力強く支えてくださっています。

また、10年前には想像もできなかった大きな企業からのビジネス協業のお話をいただいたり、日本でも有数の病院への導入が決定したりと、10年間情熱を失わず、デルタパスのソリューションを信じて取り組んできて本当に良かったと実感しています。

年齢的に、10年後に私自身がデルタパスジャパンで働いているかは分かりませんが、次の10年の確かな土台を築くことが、今の最も重要な使命だと考えています。

最後になりますが、Davidをはじめこれまでサポートしてくださった全てのDeltapathのメンバーに心から感謝申し上げます。本当にありがとうございました。
