Now is the time to consider and plan for safe ways to foster personal interaction as we reopen more and more in the coming months. Some things are never going to be the same
For better or for worse, things are different now, we're different now. We've had a collective experience with the world that most of us have never had in our lifetimes. It's suddenly not such a faux pas to have your toddler screaming in the background of your Zoom meeting. Business casual went from jeans to pajama pants. We became much more efficient with our time spent in meetings and learned to communicate more clearly to make the best use of time and energy. You have to determine for your market what the priorities are now, anticipate the needs of your consumers and jump ahead of them. Now is the time for innovative ideas that are going to propel your business forward.
Data is King
Measure, measure, and measure some more. You need well-trained people to setup metrics and analyze them daily to guide your marketing and make quick adjustments as necessary. What speaks to your audience this week is going to be old news next week, and your analytical data will show you exactly when that pivot happens so you can make real-time changes and learn to anticpate your market behaviors.
