Branding and marketing company seeking a digital marketing specialist with experience managing multiple social media accounts, running paid social media ad campaigns, and running email marketing campaigns. Must have a strong understanding of marketing principles, the conversion funnel, and digital marketing strategy. Must be able identify client needs and craft digital strategies to meet client conversion goals.
A demonstrated ability to grow social media accounts and work with clients is necessary. Social ad running experience is strongly preferred. Email marketing, PPC and Google ad running experience is also desired, but not necessary.
Other skills strongly desired:
Fluency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign for simple layout, photo editing, and graphic design. Must have a good eye for design and photography.
Strong writing skills, particularly for email and social copy.
Strong understanding of branding (voice, demographics, look). Must be able to incorporate all aspects of our client’s brand into their social media.
Must be comfortable using Facebook Business Suite, and must have a nuanced understanding of major organic and paid social media platforms (primarily Instagram and Facebook).
Strong understanding of marketing analytics and reporting.
You will excel in this role if you can take direction and can incorporate other’s ideas and opinions into your work, but are assertive in creating your own goals, tasks, and day to day workflow.
While we don’t expect you to know everything about everything when it comes to digital marketing, we do expect you to always be learning and independently keeping up with social platforms and digital tools.
Responsibilities
• Is primarily responsible for running separate client’s social media accounts, this includes:
• Creating and managing content calendars, getting them approved when necessary.
• Maintaining a weekly posting schedule across Facebook, Instagram, and sometimes LinkedIn.
• Growing social media followers and audiences.
• Following analytics, hashtags, audiences, and social media trends, and making decisions about content and posting based on your findings.
• Weekly communication with clients. Must be comfortable and courteous in reaching out and answering questions.
• Paid Social Media Ad running (ad strategy, creatives, set up, running, bid optimization, retargeting, and reporting. Occasionally will run boost campaigns.)
• Creates Marketing Email Campaigns for various clients.
• Assists company owner in various digital marketing tasks. Must be tech savvy and competent using or learning a variety of digital tools and platforms.
Qualifications
• 1 + years experience working professionally in social media/ digital marketing.
